
Here's another baseball pitching tip I felt led to share...
As all of you probably already know, it doesn't matter who the pitcher is and what level they're pitching at, being able to consistently throw strikes is the name of the game.
Here are several factors which contribute to poor command:
1) Breakdown in mechanics
2) Anxiety
3) Reluctance
Many pitchers become overwhelmed by the count, inning, runners on base or scoreboard.
Coaches must remind pitchers that these are non-factors.
All that matters? Your next pitch.
Focus on the right things & command improves.
Work on it!
